Wolves Transfer Rumours – July 7

Wolves chasing William Carvalho

Wolves have reportedly kept in contact with the representatives of William Carvalho regarding a potential move for the midfielder according to Estadio Deportivo.

It’s said that the player would ‘feel at home’ if he moved to Molineux due to the Portuguese personnel at the club.

Carvalho could be available for a cut-price £15 million as Real Betis are looking to offload the midfielder. The destructive midfielder isn’t short of potential suitors with Leicester City also monitoring the situation closely.

Wolves’ need for midfield reinforcements was only highlighted in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal where Moutinho and Neves both struggled, especially without having anybody on the bench who can come and make an impact.

Carvalho would be great fit for Wolves as he plays regularly with Neves and Moutinho in the Portuguese national team, being capped 49 times in the process.

Michail Antonio on Wolves’ radar

According to The Athletic, Wolves have reportedly been keeping tabs on West Ham’s Michail Antonio for a number of years but have never reached the bidding stage.

Antonio has been impressive in leading the line for West Ham since the restart and has been among the goals for the Hammers as they look to keep their heads above the water in a relegation battle.

Antonio’s directness and versatility in a number of positions could make this a sensible bit of business from Wolves for a player who only has one year left on his current deal.

Coventry eyeing up Dadashov

Coventry City are reportedly interested in signing Wolves striker Renat Dadashov on loan this summer according to Azerbaijani news outlet Fanat.

The 21-year-old rejected a deadline day move to Birmingham in January but could be set for a loan move next season to gain more experience.

Dadashov hasn’t made much impact on the first team at Molineux but has been impressive in the U23’s side who have largely struggled this season in the top division.

Wolves continue to be linked with Corona

Wolves have again been strongly linked with Porto’s Jesus Corona. It’s reported that Corona’s form has brought attention to the Mexican and Wolves are ready to secure his signature according to A Bola.

It’s not the first time Wolves have been linked with Corona this summer. We have reported that Wolves are keeping tabs on Jesus Corona on numerous occasions with Porto needing to cash in on their prized assets to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

Porto star Otavio could be Wolverhampton bound

Wolves are reportedly interested in signing Porto playmaker Otavio. The Brazilian has played all across the midfield for the Portuguese side this season and it’s said that Porto may sell for around £15million according to the Mirror.

Manchester City and Juventus leading the race for Adama Traore

Manchester City and Juventus currently ‘lead the race’ to sign Wolves winger Adama Traore according to ESPN.

It is reported that there could be a transfer battle for the 24 year old if Wolves miss out on Champions League football this season.

Adama continues to be linked away with a move from Molineux thanks to his fine form this campaign.
