Jimenez to join Fulham

Raul Jimenez looks set to join Fulham for a deal worth £5.5 million plus add ons according to various reports.

Jimenez is understood to be surplus to requirements at Wolves and has left Wolves’ training camp in Portugal to undertake his medical in London.

 

Wolves still interested in Scott but no fresh bid

Wolves still remain interested in Alex Scott but have yet to make a third bid after the previous two were rejected according to Telegrapgh.

It’s thought Bristol City are holding out for £25 million for Scott.

 

Wolves miss out on striker

Reported Wolves target Mateo Retegui is set to join Genoa according to Fabrizio Romano.

Wolves tried to sign the Italian international but “FFP issues made it impossible.”

The club are said to be suffering from FFP constraints but not as much as that’s been reported in the press.

 

Man City midfielder is a target

Wolves are reportedly interested in Manchester City midfielder Tommy Doyle according to Alan Nixon.

The 21-year-old’s former loan club Sheffield United also have an interest but it’s said that the Blades do not have the funds to buy him this summer.

 

Wolves still in talks over defender

Nico Elvedi had travelled with the Borussia Mönchengladbach squad but was not selected for their friendly vs Saarbrücken.

According to Rheinische  Post, negotiations between Wolves and the German club are ongoing but still work to do before an agreement is reached.

It’s thought that Mönchengladbach want to find a replacement before letting Elvedi go.

 

Giles to move to Luton Town

Ryan Giles looks set to join Premier League newcomers Luton Town for a fee of around £5 million according to various reports.

Giles had been on pre-season with Wolves, giving Lopetegui a chance to take a look at the 24-year-old but it now looks like the left-back will be moved on.

 

Wolves and West Ham in stalemate

West Ham ‘are not happy’ with Wolves’ opening bid of £2.5m for Aaron Cresswell and are expected to demand about £5m according to the Guardian.

It’s not yet known whether Wolves will improve their offer for the 33-year-old.

 

Podence back at Compton

Daniel Podence has not travelled to Portugal for pre season with the rest of the first-team squad and is instead training back at Compton.

It’s understood Podence will leave Wolves this summer, with Real Betis being heavily linked with him.
