Wolves Transfer Rumours – 8th June

Ruben Neves

Sport in Spain report that Neves will end up at Barça regardless but it remains to be seen how that deal will be done.

The same publication suggests that Jorge Mendes still pushing a swap between Ansu Fati and Ruben Neves.

Mendes has other options such as Dest or Abde to join Wolves but his priority is get the deal done with Ansu.

It’s understood that Fati does not want to leave Barcelona and is not convinced by a move to Wolves.

James Ward Prowse

Wolves are reportedly amongst Premier League clubs interested in Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse according to The Sun.

However, the Championship side value the midfielder at £40m but it remains to be seen whether Southampton will command anywhere near that fee.

 

George Mikautadze

Wolves. Lyon and Burnley are reportedly interested in Metz forward Georges Mikautadze according to le10sport.

The 22 year old scored 23 goals this season and is valued at around €20m.

A diminutive figure, Mikautadze is comfortable with both feet and despite his size, he’s strong and his low centre of gravity means he’s difficult to knock off the ball.

 

Batista Mendy

Wolves are reportedly interested in Angers midfielder Batista Mendy according to Le Quipe.

Everton and Nottingham Forest are also said to be interested. The French club are looking for €6m.

Mendy was a mainstay in the Angers side in Ligue 1 and was mostly deployed as a combative midfielder who mops up play effectively.

Adama Traore

Al-Ittihad are reportedly in advanced negotiations with Adama Traore according to Aaron Dominguez.

It’s still unclear whether Adama will renew his deal at Wolves with FFP problems looming. Manager Julen Lopetegui has insisted he wants to renew the Spaniards deal, which expires on June 30.

 

Fabio Silva

Teams in the top tiers of Spain, Italy, Germany and Turkey are monitoring Fabio Silva this summer according to Liam Keen.

Ajax and PSV remain interested in Silva. A loan move is most likely but a permanent move isn’t out of the question if Wolves receive an appropriate offer.

It’s unclear whether Fabio Silva is keen on a return back to his parent club, Wolves.

 

Dion Sanderson

Stoke City are interested in Wolves defender Dion Sanderson as they rival Birmingham City for his signature according to various reports.

Sunderland are also said to be interested in the 23-year-old but no official bids have been made.

It’s understood Wolves value Sanderson at around £2 million.
