Wolves Rumours August 7th

Nottingham Forest close to meeting Wolves’ valuation of Morgan Gibbs-White

Nottingham Forest are reportedly edging closer to meeting Wolves’ £40m valuation for Morgan Gibbs-White according to The Telegraph.

As reported a couple of days ago, Wolves had turned down Forest’s last advancements because they’re understood to want at least £30m up front.

It’s not yet known whether the new bid will see Wolves receive at least £30m up front but it looks increasingly likely that Gibbs-White will leave the club.

Guedes to complete Wolves medical on Monday

Goncalo Guedes is set to have his Wolves medical on Monday and will complete his move soon after.

Wolves are hopeful that Guedes will be available for the game vs Fulham on Saturday.

Personal terms have been agreed by the player as Guedes is set to swap Valencia for an equally as tropical Wolverhampton.

Conor Coady edges closer to Wolves exit

Everton are reportedly closing in on a deal for Wolves’ captain Conor Coady.

The deal is thought to be initially a loan move but many reports conflict as to whether Everton have either an option to buy, an obligation after certain objectives are met or just a straight obligation to buy.

Many Wolves fans will be having flashbacks to the Adama Traore loan deal if Coady’s move doesn’t conclude in a permanent move to Goodison Park.

The fee that has been mooted is around £12m plus add ons for the England international.

It looks likely that a deal could be wrapped up as early as the next few days.

Wolves’ bid for Hwang Ui-Jo nowhere near clubs valuation

Wolves’ offer of €3m for Hwang Ui-Jo was reportedly €2 million upfront and €1 million in bonuses in the event of qualification for the Champions League according to L’Equipe.

Bordeaux are said to be waiting for a more sensible offer from Wolves.

You cannot blame Wolves for chancing such a proposal but it remains to be seen whether Wolves do go back in with a more sensible and realistic offer for the South Korean.

Wolves reject loan move for Toti Gomes

Wolves have reportedly rejected a loan offer from an unnamed Italian Serie A club for defender Toti Gomes as exclusively reported by Liam Keen.

With the possibility of Coady leaving the club, Wolves want to keep Gomes around as cover.
