Wolves want to bolster attacking options with Paulinho
Wolves are reportedly interested in signing Braga forward Paulinho as reported by A Bola. The Portuguese club needs to sell players and want around €30m for the 27-year-old striker.
Paulinho has been impressive this season for Braga, having scored 22 goals and assisting seven in 40 appearances.
It’s no secret that Wolves want to bring a striker in and Paulinho is very much a similar player to Raul Jimenez in terms of playing style – we just hope it’s not to replace the Mexican.
Wolves continue to be linked with Rayan Aït Nouri
Wolves have again been linked with 19 y/o left-back Rayan Aït Nouri according to Footmercato.
The club have been linked with Angers youngster before and it’s said that Manchester United and Manchester City have also accelerated talks for the Frenchman.
Nouri is currently in England with his agent to secure his next move having been granted permission by his club Angers.
Wolves monitoring defender Montes
Wolves are reportedly interested in 23-year-old Mexican defender César Montes. The Monterrey centre back wants to play in Europe with Sevilla and Valencia also interested according to Marca.
Montes has played 11 times for Monterrey so far this season and has impressed on his outings for the club.
Weston McKennie transfer links resurface
Wolves’ interest in American midfielder Weston McKennie has been reported again today.
It’s said that Wolves and Leicester are both keen on securing a £20m move for the highly-rated Schalke midfielder who is chasing a Premier League move according to Birmingham Live.
McKennie has been a regular for Schalke last season, playing 38 times.
West Ham keen on Morgan Gibbs-White
West Ham are reportedly interested in a move for Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White as reported by the Mail.
David Moyes is keen to increase the number of homegrown players in the West Ham squad as per the Premier League regulations.
Gibbs White has rarely featured for Wolves this season and has had issues off the field so a change of environment may be the best option for the young English midfielder.
Miranda heading back to Portugal
Roderick Miranda is reportedly wanted by Portuguese club Belenenses as they hope to add to their defensive options according to A Bola.
Rio Ave are also said to be interested in the 29-year-old centre back who’s failed to make an impact since he joined Wolves and has not been part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans for a couple of years now.
