Wolves leading the race for Rugani
Wolves are reportedly leading the race for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani according to il Bianco Nero.
The 6ft3 defender has been a long-standing target for Wolves and the club have been linked with a move for him for close to a year.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves had already submitted an £18million bid for the centre-half, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport but those reports were said to be wide of the mark.
However, with the season now drawing to a close and transfer activity ramping up, Nuno has identified the centre-back position as his priority.
Rugani has only made 10 appearances for Juventus this season.
Wolves eye another Juventus defender in Demiral
Wolves are reportedly interested in Juventus defender Merih Demiral according to Italian football journalist Nicolo Schira.
However, Juventus don’t want to sell the Turkish centre-back and the club have previously rejected a bid of €30M for the 22-year-old.
Demiral is a tall and strong centre back that also possesses real athletic attributes too which could make him a perfect fit for this Wolverhampton Wanderers side – especially now we know that Nuno is chasing another centre half to potential replace Romain Saiss.
Leicester City are also said to be interested in Merih Demiral who’s played only eight times for Juventus this season.
Allan could be Premier League bound
Wolves have been touted as a possible destination for Napoli midfielder Allan according to Rai Sport.
Napoli are understood to be willing to offload Alan and a move to the Premier League is the most likely destination – with Jorge Mendes waiting in the wings to try and broker the deal for both club and player.
It’s understood that Everton are also interested in securing the midfielder’s services.
A player of Allan’s quality and experience would be welcome at Molineux as he’s impressed during his time in Naples, becoming one of the league’s best midfielders.
Possessing a range of fantastic passing, dribbling and tackling attributes, Allan could potentially come in to replace the excellence of Joao Moutinho once he moves on from Wolves.
It’s not yet known how much it would cost to bring Allan to Molineux but it would be Wolves’ marquee signing for the summer if it was to happen.
The Brazilian has played 33 times this season for Napoli and has been a regular starter.
Wolves linked with Max Aarons
Wolves are reportedly interested in signing Max Aarons from Norwich City this summer according to the Sunday Mirror.
The young full-back is reportedly valued at around £20million despite being relegated to the Premier League.
Aarons has been one of the few shining lights this season for The Canaries and it’s understood he is being monitored by a whole host of Premier League clubs.
