Wolves Rumours – August 24

Wolves reject bid for Nunes

News broke on Wednesday that Manchester City were preparing a bid for Matheus Nunes as they look to bolster their midfield ranks.

The Telegraph have reported today that a bid of £47 million from Manchester City has been rejected by Wolves and is said to be ‘nowhere near’ the clubs valuation of the 24-year-old.

It’s thought Nunes is top of City’s list and will return with another bid.

It’s understood that Wolves are holding out for around £65-70 million. They will also owe Sporting 10% of the profit made from the sale.

Nunes has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Man City.

United linked with Semedo

Footy Insider 247 have reported that Manchester United have made an enquiry for Wolves right-back Nelson Semedo.

These links were quickly confirmed by the Express & Star but no formal approach has been made yet for the right-back.

The 29-year-old currently has two years left on his contract but Wolves could look to cash in before the window closes.

Hwang generating interest from Germany

It’s understood that Wolves deem Hwang as not for sale during this window.
